Environmental Consultant – Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) – Dublin
Fantastic opportunity for an Environmental Consultant to join a well-established, multidisciplinary environmental and engineering consultancy in Dublin, delivering high-quality planning-led environmental services across Ireland. This role will suit someone with a strong grounding in Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) who enjoys working on plan-level projects that directly influence sustainable development, policy and infrastructure delivery.
Projects:
* Strategic Environmental Assessment for Development Plans and Local Area Plans
* Sectoral and thematic strategies across transport, energy, water and land use
* Public sector and local authority-led programmes
* Planning-led environmental assessments
* Integrated projects alongside planners, engineers and environmental specialists
Requirements:
* Min 4+ yrs' experience working in an environmental consultancy environment
* Strong, demonstrable experience delivering Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA)
* Good working knowledge of Irish planning and environmental legislation
* Experience engaging with public sector clients and statutory bodies
* Excellent report writing, analytical and communication skills
* Ability to manage workloads independently while collaborating effectively within a team
* Experience in AA / Natura Impact Assessment or plan-level EIA would be advantageous
