Role: The Senior Technical Manager leads the Data Quality Engineering group, driving technical excellence and innovation. The role involves developing scalable microservices and data validation systems for mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead design and implementation of microservices ensuring data quality and integrity
2. Define and drive technical roadmaps and architectural patterns
3. Establish governance frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality standards
4. Architect distributed data validation services using containerization and orchestration
5. Design APIs and systems for real-time monitoring and remediation
6. Implement observability and metrics solutions
7. Lead strategic technical decision-making
8. Mentor engineering talent through reviews and discussions
9. Guide adoption of modern engineering practices
10. Provide technical leadership for modernization initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related
* 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities
* 5+ years of technical team leadership
* Expertise in microservices and distributed systems
* Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Knowledge of data engineering, ETL, and validation
* Experience with DevOps pipelines and automation
* Knowledge of NoSQL and big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark)
* Proficiency in modern programming languages (Java, Python, Go)
* Experience integrating Generative AI and LLMs
* Understanding of system scalability and performance optimization
* Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in related fields
* Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time streaming
* Background in machine learning, data science, or AI
* Familiarity with automation tools like Control-M, Ansible
* Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
* Knowledge of security best practices
