Role Description
This full-time on-site role for a Home Care Assistant is based in Ireland. The Home Care Assistant will provide essential personal care and household support to clients in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship. The role involves working closely with clients, respecting their independence, and providing compassionate care tailored to individual needs.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in Caregiving, Home Care, and Personal Care are essential for assisting clients with daily living needs.
* Experience in Elder Care and supporting individuals with disabilities, mental health difficulties, or palliative care needs is required.
* Exceptional Interpersonal Skills to provide emotional support and maintain respectful and empathetic communication with clients and their families.
* Ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility and reliability in caregiving tasks.
* A relevant certification or qualification in healthcare or caregiving is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Knowledge of basic health and safety standards in a home care setting and first aid training is a plus.
* A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are preferred.
