Job Description
Oakland County seeks an Internal Human Resources Consultant to work closely with department leadership teams, implementing HR programs to attract, retain, and motivate staff. The ideal candidate will provide counsel and guidance on all HR matters and promote organizational effectiveness across departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement HR programs focused on attracting and retaining top talent
* Provide counsel and guidance on HR matters to department leadership teams
* Advance leadership teams' understanding of the HR business value to department operations
* Coach and advise departmental leaders to improve their effectiveness
* Connect leaders to training opportunities and best practices
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
2. Five years of full-time progressive Human Resources experience, including two years of employee or labor relations
Preferred Qualifications
Work Environment
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and will be required to utilize current Countywide and/or department-specific software to complete assignments

Pay Range
$90,110 - $120,729 per year
