Boyden have been retained to assist in the appointment of a Country Managing Director, Ireland for Wilo. Wilo is a multinational technology group headquartered in Germany and one of the world’s leading premium suppliers of pumps and pump systems for building services, water management and the industrial sector, employing around 9,000 people around the globe with a turnover of around €2bn.
Reporting to the MD Regions with a team of 15, this role will have full P&L responsibility for product sales and servicing for the Irish market. Key team are Head of sales, engineering/technical and logistics with full shared services support out of the UK.
Requirements
* 6+ years’ experience in sales of technical products and sales team management
* Ideally experience of working within an international business including matrix structures
* Track record of growing a business unit
* Good technical acumen to be effective in a technical sales context
* Excellent people and communications skills
* Ability to bring strategic thinking and innovation to grow the market and create new revenue opportunities
* A commitment to sustainability, to create a better world and better business outcomes.
* Degree in technical engineering or business management
