Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead the development and delivery of a youth service in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will work in partnership with adopted young people, supporting them to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Main Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a programme of activities for adopted young people, ensuring a fun, interactive, and age-appropriate experience.
2. Support the project participants in designing and implementing monthly activities, fostering an active role in the Banter Project.
3. Sustain and develop a monthly social hub, providing opportunities for basic life-skills development and preparation for further education, training, and employment.
4. Work closely with the Youth Advisory Group (YAG) to enable adopted young people to steer the Banter Project, promoting independence, personal development, social and life skills, leadership, and community involvement.
5. Organize and supervise the work of the Youth Services Support Worker to deliver the Banter Project.
6. Connect adopted young people with relevant services, particularly those who work with care experienced young people.
7. Implement robust monitoring and evaluation to review individual goals, track progress, and assess effectiveness.
