Clinical Nurse Manager 1 - Alternative Respite Manager
Stewarts Care is a long-established voluntary organisation, funded by the HSE under Section 38. We support people with intellectual disabilities through residential care, day services, independent living, job advocacy, and vocational training.
Purpose of the Post
Reporting to the Director of Care, Resident Services, the Alternative Respite Manager will be on a Full Time Permanent contract. The primary role of the Alternative Respite Manager will be to effectively manage the respite service and associated resources, in line with national and organisational policy as well as best practice requirements. In so doing they must ensure that the respite service is of a high quality and has a core philosophy of equity at its centre.
Experience and Qualifications

Be actively registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Strong working knowledge of the HIQA Standards and Health Act (2007) and associated Regulations and Guidance, and knowledge of national policies in the disability sector.
Experience working in Respite Services would be a distinct advantage.
Have excellent computer literacy and information technology skills is essential
Possess excellent report writing skills.
Be capable of effectively communicating, adapting as appropriate to the family, individual, group and situation.
Possess proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritising and monitoring delivery and progress.
Have an up-to-date, valid Irish Driving License.

Note: Certain benefits are available following successful completion of the probation period.
In line with the Department of Health consolidated pay scales, the current salary scale is Clinical Nurse Manager 1 €57,208 – €67,372 per annum (including LSI).
