Role Summary
RIP Ireland is Ireland's first community-driven memorial and support platform, helping families and friends stay connected long after the funeral ends. We've reimagined what a death notice can be: turning it into an enduring support hub that enables donations, shared memories, and ongoing care.
We are now seeking a Sales & Marketing Consultant (Equity Partner) to help lead our growth, building partnerships with funeral directors, driving awareness among families, and shaping the narrative of an Irish company that puts compassion and innovation first.
This is not a typical job. It's an opportunity to co-own and grow a purpose-led Irish startup that's redefining how we support one another through loss. You'll work directly with the founders, design team, and business mentors to build a lasting legacy: a platform that helps communities care, not just announce.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Partnerships
Develop and execute a national sales strategy targeting Irish funeral directors and related service providers (florists, stonemasons, memorial suppliers).
Build strong relationships with key industry partners, presenting RIP Ireland as the new standard in family support and memorialisation.
Drive platform adoption by onboarding 30+ funeral homes in the first 6 months.
Support future expansion into the UK through partnership mapping and diaspora outreach.
Marketing & Growth
Shape and execute marketing campaigns that connect emotionally with families and communities.
Develop and manage localised campaigns (digital, print, PR) to raise awareness of RIP Ireland's unique features: memorial walls, donations, and post-funeral care.
Lead our storytelling strategy — from crafting media pieces to managing content across social and community channels.
Leverage data, analytics, and user insights to guide campaigns and measure ROI.
Strategy & Leadership
Work alongside the founders (Mark Feehan and Erich Falconer) to refine RIP Ireland's commercial model and growth roadmap.
Contribute to brand partnerships, fundraising, and investor relations as the company scales.
Act as an ambassador for the company's mission — inspiring trust, empathy, and purpose in every interaction.
What We're Looking For
2+ years' experience in sales, marketing, or business development (preferably in SaaS, community platforms, or social enterprises).
Proven track record in building B2B relationships and growing early-stage brands.
Strong storytelling and communication skills; ability to inspire trust in both business and community settings.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on approach — willing to lead, sell, and strategise.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, high-purpose startup environment.
Experience in the funeral, charity, or local business sectors is an advantage, but empathy, drive, and integrity are essential.
