Job Title: Technical Programme Manager
Job Summary:
* We are seeking an experienced programme manager to lead the successful end-to-end delivery of outsourced technology programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full lifecycle of technical programmes involving external vendors and partners, from initiation through to implementation and transition to operations.
* Define and manage the overall programme roadmap, aligning with business strategy and technology delivery objectives.
* Ensure robust governance is in place, with appropriate reporting structures and steering group oversight.
* Lead the planning, mobilisation, and execution of outsourced delivery engagements, including SLA management, escalation handling, and contract adherence.
* Collaborate with procurement, legal, and commercial functions to manage third-party contracts and performance.
* Act as a key interface between internal teams and vendor delivery teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
* Monitor and manage programme risks, issues, and dependencies, particularly those relating to third-party operations and compliance obligations.
* Ensure alignment with internal governance standards, data privacy, and financial regulatory requirements.
* Engage with senior stakeholders across business, technology, and operations to ensure alignment of objectives and successful outcomes.
* Lead regular programme status updates, presenting at steering committees and executive forums as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 10 years' experience in technology programme management, with at least 5 years experience managing outsourced or vendor-led programmes.
* Demonstrated experience delivering complex programmes within the financial services sector, ideally involving both infrastructure and application components.
* Deep understanding of end-to-end programme lifecycle, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, programme governance, and operational readiness.
* Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with legal, procurement, and compliance functions.
* Comfortable working in hybrid delivery environments (Agile/Waterfall) and managing across internal and external delivery teams.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
