This role will also contribute to the architecture governance ensuring adherence to the Citi architecture principles. The candidate will work closely with technology, product and operations partners and evaluate business requirements and translate them into solution design, including selection of components, tools/technology and the integrations required for complete front-to-back experience. The candidate will provide leadership to enterprise architecture, data architecture and engineering excellence. The global nature of the role requires excellent navigation and communication skills across business and technology teams and regions.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide thought‑leadership in solution design across strategic programs by decomposing requirements and collaboratively developing solutions that adhere to Citi’s architecture principles and Services strategic blueprint.Lead a small and accomplished technology team of architects and solution designers specializing in the Services domain and with deep understanding of all aspects of business, application, data, and infrastructure architecture.Develop customized client solutions and strategies through consultative assessments and methodologies to analyze the as‑is situation and future‑state requirements.Communicate solution architecture to stakeholders and collaborate with existing technology partners and domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.Own, manage and apply architecture governance on solutions diagrams, application integration design, application mappings and data concepts.Champion engineering excellence by actively promoting and governing the use of development standards and principles.Create traceability between service offering documents, business requirements and the design/build of solutions.Knowledge & Skills RequiredAnalytical problem solver approaching Services technology challenges with a clear eye on what is important, employing the right approach/methods to make the maximum use of time and human resources.Exceptional communicating, influencing and engagement skills across all levels in the organization. Carefully listens to management, technologists, and partners to devise the best design and explains complex concepts to non‑technical colleagues.Hands‑on technology leader who promotes and thrives in a culture of collaboration, partnerships, inclusion, and diversity.10+ years’ experience building and maintaining applications in the financial services industry, with extensive knowledge of one of the domains within Citi Services products and service offerings.Experienced in architecture patterns enabling digital transformation, platform modernization, cloud onboarding and footprint simplification.Demonstrable expertise in the development of standards, architectural adoption and governance methods, design patterns and IT practices.Expert knowledge of integration design patterns underpinning a platform composed of in‑house developed and vendor applications.Expert knowledge of Domain‑driven and Events‑based architecture patterns.Expert at Kafka‑based integration design.Knowledge and experience of applying advanced technologies leveraging data such as Natural language processing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning and predictive analytics.Strong expertise in technical analysis and ability to produce detailed mapping specifications and data flow diagrams.Experience of working with Snowflake and reference data architecture including Snowflake as a component.Knowledge of external and internal systems integration through use of APIs.Experience with one of the enterprise metadata management tools.Knowledge of one of the architecture frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman.QualificationsDegree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field, Masters desirable.Architect certification desirable.Agile certification desirable.Job Family GroupTechnologyJob FamilyArchitectureTime TypeFull timePrimary Location Full Time Salary Range€109,920.00 - €164,880.00Automated Processing and AIWe use automated processing, including artificial intelligence, for our legitimate business interests (or our reasonable and appropriate business purposes) to identify and align the candidate's skills and abilities with a specific job opening.
