This role is located in Dublin.ResponsibilitiesLead or perform audits related to finance reporting activities and work as a team member on audit assignments.Lead risk‑focused planning, fieldwork, and reporting in accordance with internal audit policies, methodologies, and standards to identify meaningful issues, risks, and other exposures.Ensure testing (or other tasks as applicable) is adequate and accurate to evaluate adherence to company policies and procedures, audit methodologies, and all applicable regulations.Demonstrate skills and understanding of businesses and processes through flowcharting, work‑papers, analysis, issue identification, and discussions with management and auditees.Identify inconsistencies within the control environment, regulatory requirements, and best practices and clearly explain the audit process to clients and any findings or results.Apply advanced analytical problem‑solving skills and lead others in solving complex issues and identifying innovative solutions.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience and completed a recognized relevant post‑graduate qualification (e.g., CIA, CMIIA, ACA, ACCA), but not essential.7–10 years of total work experience preferred.Prior experience in audit or the relevant specialty area preferred.Understanding of the application and interpretation of analytics results for audit, critical thinking, and problem solving.Experience using AI‑enabled tools to support data analysis, risk identification, automation, or insight generation within a professional environment.BenefitsBNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay‑for‑performance philosophy.
