Job Title: Senior Technical Leader
Description:
This is a technical leadership role within an advanced manufacturing process. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across multiple technical disciplines, including automated manufacturing, robotics, thermal coatings, and automated inspection.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a detailed understanding of best practice in product/process performance.
* Drive high levels of employee engagement through effective support structures.
* Develop technical solutions to complex technical problems.
* Lead design, development, testing & refinement of systems, sub-systems & components.
* Recommends changes in procedures.
* Serve as technical advisor to engineering personnel.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Level 8 Honours Degree in an Engineering discipline, with 6+ years manufacturing experience and increasing levels of responsibility. An advanced degree (ideally a Masters or PHD) is desired, along with experience in thermal spray coatings or related deposition technologies or materials science.
