Full-Time | Remote (with optional desk in Clonakilty)
Mirador Media Ltd. is seeking a creative and technically capable Multimedia Producer / Exhibition Designer to join our growing team. This is a full-time position working at the intersection of design, technology, and spatial storytelling, supporting the creation of immersive exhibitions and interpretative experiences across Ireland.
Ideal Start: January 2026
About the Role
You will collaborate closely with our copywriter, graphic designer, and lead interpretative designer, as well as interact with architects and present work to clients. This role may suit a talented early-career designer with strong technical ability and creative flair, or an experienced practitioner with well-rounded design and production skills.
While the role is remote, you'll have access to a hot desk in our Clonakilty office, and you are welcome to work onsite regularly if you prefer. Some travel to project sites — often in the most scenic corners of Ireland — is required. A full driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop multimedia and exhibition content from concept through to delivery
* Contribute to spatial, digital, and graphic elements of interpretative design
* Produce visual and technical materials for client presentations
* Collaborate with cross-disciplinary team members and external partners
* Work independently to manage tasks, timelines, and remote workflows
* Assist with specifying build materials, exhibit technologies, and interactive elements
* Support video, motion graphics, audio, and XR content production (experience or willingness to learn)
Skills & Experience
We do not expect applicants to have every skill listed — enthusiasm for learning and adaptability are highly valued.
Experience or interest in the following is beneficial:
* Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, Acrobat)
* SketchUp (primary exhibit design tool)
* CAD or other 3D design tools (advantage)
* Graphic design for print and digital
* Video editing & motion graphics
* Exhibition design and materials knowledge
* Interactive UI design for touchscreen experiences
* XR / immersive media creation via no-code tools
* AI creative tools
* Audio editing and post-production
* What We're Looking For
* A creative thinker with strong problem-solving ability
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Someone comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Strong spoken and written English; Irish or another language is a plus
* A genuine interest in natural and cultural heritage
* Self-discipline and reliability suited to remote work
* Design, technical, or spatial skills — with particular strength in at least one area
