As we continue to grow and evolve, we're looking for a Stores Person to join our team on a permanent contract.
Job Purpose To perform day-to-day stores tasks for ordering, inspecting, controlling and moving of products, while constantly aiming towards improving these functions to achieve the maximum financial benefit for the company.
Main Duties & Responsibilities Receive, check, and record all goods delivered for any department in the company on the ERP system.
Maintain strong cost controls and stock management while upholding Five-Star Hotel standards.
Safely load and unload goods, assisting colleagues when needed.
Learn and understand all stocked products, including their value and usage levels.
Work closely with the Procurement Manager and Financial Controller to prioritise daily tasks.
Make deliveries and collections both within the property and externally.
Maintain a consistently high standard of work.
Follow all safety procedures, especially when operating vehicles or equipment (cars, vans, utility vehicles, forklifts, etc.).
Learn and use the computerised ERP and stock control system for daily tasks.
Learn to use the property management and point-of-sale systems for accurate stock checks.
Complete daily/weekly spot checks and month-end stocktake, reporting accurately on all stock locations.
Always be punctual.
Work flexibly to support business needs, including evenings, weekends, or public holidays.
Comply with all policies and procedures in the employee handbook.
Maintain confidentiality when handling company or customer data.
Support continuous improvement and ensure adherence to Fire, Health & Safety, and Food Safety (HACCP) requirements.
Other Duties Attend any relevant training courses as requested by the company.
Ensure all external contractors, delivery-persons, company representatives etc., abide by company policy whilst working on the premises.
To be responsible for opening, closing and securing of the storage facility as necessary.
Carry out all reasonable requests from management.
