We’re AmTrust International Underwriters, an insurance business based in our modern offices in the Temple Bar area of Dublin. We are now looking for an Insurance Operations Analyst to join a new team based in London, Nottingham, or Dublin.
This business-facing role will involve managing and supporting business applications, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing processes across the organization. Responsibilities include continuous process improvement, system releases, data integrity management, and collaborating with the data analytics team to create dashboards and reports.
Essential functions include but are not limited to:
1. Coordinating and documenting testing of system changes from configuration and release perspectives.
2. Documenting processes and controls with business owners.
3. Working with process owners to optimize workflows and ensure correct system configuration.
4. Acting as a SuperUser within systems to correct data within provided guidelines. Main systems include VIPR’s Intarga (Contract Management, Onboarding, and Underwriting Workflow), Intrali (Bordereaux Processing), and AutoRek.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a business-facing role managing stakeholders at peer and higher levels, with a background as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar. They should possess excellent SQL and/or Power BI skills, experience with workflow tools, process documentation and design skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
Experience within the insurance sector is essential. Prior team leadership experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
