Caretaker – Rathangan Day Care Centre
Community Employment (CE) Position
Rathangan Day Care Centre is seeking a Caretaker under the Community Employment Programme.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the standard Community Employment qualifying conditions:
* Be in receipt of a social welfare payment for 12 months or more, or
* Be over 50 years of age and signing for credits.
Role Description
The Caretaker will be responsible for the general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the premises and surrounding grounds. The role involves ensuring that the facility and its outdoor areas are maintained to a high standard.
Previous experience in maintenance or caretaking is desirable but not essential.
Training and Development
Full on-the-job training will be provided. Participants will also have access to additional accredited training opportunities to enhance their skills, improve employability, or support a change in career direction.
