Duties and Responsibilities
To assist the Warehouse Manager with the movement of goods, products and materials within the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* To pick and pack orders
* Duties involve regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting and carrying.
* Ensures that product inspection functions are performed efficiently to meet with Company's quality standards.
* Inspect products and report the results from products return.
* To be responsible for receiving and inspection of deliveries and ensuring that safe unloading procedures are followed.
* To ensure that incoming materials are stored, stacked and distributed according to company procedures and instruction from the Warehouse Manager.
* To manage stock levels by participating in stock taking and cycle counting.
* To prepare finished goods for packing and despatch.
* To process all necessary documentation within the Warehouse and complete all relevant system transactions.
* To represent the company/department in an appropriate manner at all times when dealing with suppliers, couriers, customers and colleagues.
* Report damaged packaging to ensure product quality for the customer.
* Assist in warehouse audits to ensure they are performed accurately and efficiently.
* To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
* To keep work area clean and tidy.
* To maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards.
* To achieve the targets and job standards set out by Manager.
* To be adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
* To perform any reasonable request from Manager or designee.
