We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate eBusiness Lead to join our growing eBusiness Team.
The successful candidate will play a leading role in shaping the e-Commerce functions for Wurth Ireland.
Reporting to the Head of Digital, the
eBusiness Lead
is responsible for the
day-to-day management and development of the eBusiness team
, driving online sales growth and digital performance across eCommerce platforms (eShop, App and eProcurement) and digital systems. This role owns the
end-to-end online customer journey
, optimising website performance, digital marketing activity and conversion rates to achieve commercial targets through our eCommerce platforms and sales channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day management of the eBusiness team, including task prioritisation, workload planning, performance monitoring, coaching and development to ensure departmental objectives are achieved.
* From creation to execution to reporting, work closely with the team at each stage to deliver against ambitious eBusiness and Digital Systems targets.
* Co-ordinate and oversee the execution of the department marketing plan, ensuring all content is commercially effective, accurate, up to date and compliant with brand guidelines.
* Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver website improvements, new features and enhancements to improve conversion, engagement and customer retention.
* Own the maintenance and implementation of dedicated welcome pages and customer-specific solutions in line with the Content and Key Account Management Strategy.
* Act as an escalation point for troubleshooting online issues affecting internal and external customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
* Manage the rollout, adoption and ongoing optimisation of Digital and Analogue Systems across the business.
* Monitor eCommerce performance metrics, analyse data and provide regular reporting with actionable insights.
* Support cross-functional collaboration with Sales, IT, Marketing and Operations to ensure alignment of eBusiness initiatives.
* Carry out other duties as assigned by your manager.
Requirements:
* Commercially focused, data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail.
* Proven experience managing or leading a team desirable, with the ability to motivate, develop and hold team members accountable.
* Solutions-oriented B2B marketer with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Digital marketing qualification desirable but not essential.
* Demonstrated experience working with eCommerce platforms and analytical tools to influence on-site conversion and customer engagement.
* Strong analytical and reporting skills with a high level of accuracy.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite with SAP knowledge desirable
* Basic graphic design experience would be a distinct advantage.
