Clinical Nurse Manager I - Orthopaedics
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Manager I to join our Orthopaedic Ward on a 11 month Fixed Term Contract. The primary role of the CNMI is to provide safe and effective care to patients, while playing a pivotal role in service planning, coordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area.
The CNM I will work closely with the CNM II to co-ordinate and lead in the implementation and provision of quality care. They will be responsible for managing patient care to ensure the highest professional standards using an evidence based, care planning approach.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Managing patient care to ensure the highest professional standards using an evidence based, care planning approach.
* Providing a high level of professional and clinical leadership.
* Being responsible for the coordination, assessment, planning, delivery and review of patient care by all staff in designated area.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Be registered in the General Division of the liver Register of Nurses kept by NMBI
* Have completed a management course or commit to undertake same
* A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience within a Medical/Surgical environment
* Previous management experience is desirable
