Health and Safety Officer A Health and Safety Officer is required for an established contractor to work on civil engineering and utilities projects across Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Health and Safety professional to join a dynamic team and play a key role in maintaining high health and safety standards on-site.
The successful candidate will have a background in construction, civil engineering, or utilities and be confident supporting the implementation of safety procedures across multiple sites.
Duties: Monitor health and safety compliance across project sites.
Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of company health and safety policies and procedures.
Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders regarding safety matters.
Attend site meetings and provide health and safety guidance where required.
Maintain safety documentation and prepare reports as required.
Ensure safe work practices are followed by all personnel on-site.
Support incident investigations and help implement corrective actions.
Requirements: Minimum 13 years experience in a Health and Safety role within construction, civil engineering, or utilities.
NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH, or equivalent health & safety qualification.
Knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices within the construction industry.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in Ireland.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work across multiple sites in Dublin.
Eligible to work in Ireland.
Full driving licence.
