The Role
As Guest Experience Manager, you’ll be the face of the restaurant welcoming guests, managing the reception and host teams, and making sure every experience is personal, warm and seamless from the moment a guest walks through the door.
You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Director and FOH leadership team to oversee the full guest journey including reservations, special requests, service flow, and the atmosphere across the venue.
This is a hands-on role that requires great communication, attention to detail, leadership skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
What You’ll Do
* Lead the reception and host team to deliver exceptional guest service
* Be present on the floor to welcome guests and support the team during service
* Handle bookings through OpenTable and direct enquiries by phone, email or in person
* Coordinate booking pacing and special requests to ensure a smooth flow
* Monitor and respond to guest reviews (Tripadvisor, Google, OpenTable)
* Build strong relationships with regular guests, VIPs and corporate clients
* Support the creation of a warm and inviting atmosphere including music, lighting and presentation
* Drive upselling opportunities for pre- and post-dinner drinks in the lounge
* Manage rotas, training, team development and performance reviews
* Work with the Restaurant Director on reporting, procedures and service improvements
About You
* 3+ years of experience in a similar role within premium hospitality
* Excellent understanding of OpenTable and guest flow management
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Guest-focused, welcoming and confident on the floor
* Organised and detail-oriented, with strong admin and coordination skills
* Comfortable managing team rotas, training and performance
* Must hold an EU passport or right to work in Ireland
