Job Title: Gymnastics coach -Part-time 16hours, Rate of pay DOE Job Location: Sport Ireland Campus, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 Reports to: Senior Gymnastics Coach JOB PURPOSE: Reporting to the Senior Coach, the Gymnastics coach will provide successful delivery of all gymnastics programmes on the Sport Ireland Campus. Ensuring these programmes are delivered to the highest standards, in a safe and welcoming environment. Responsibility Tasks Coaching and Leadership The Gymnastics Coach will take responsibility for delivery of the Sports Ireland Campus Gymnastic products. Create and deliver sports sessions on all gymnastics programme and recreational programme products. These include school tours, multi sports camps and gymnastics camps. Alwaysensurea consistent high standard of delivery across allprogrammes. Continuously reflect and reviewyour owncoaching performancewith a view to always improving. Drivean always improving cultureusingtwo-way, open communication withall team members. Health and Safety Ensure that Health and Safety rules and procedures are applied and adhered to at all times. Provideaccurateand detailed safety information to customers where and when needed. Ensure that all equipment is in working order andareais safe for use prior to each session. Report any safeguarding concernsimmediatelyto the Child Protection Officer, in line with thecompaniessafeguarding policies. Provide first aid when and whereneeded. Technical Responsibilities Keep up to date with developments in Sports industry teaching and coaching. Attend training courses as required. Continuously improve knowledge and skills to remain updated on all coaching practices and trends. Customer Service Engage with all customers in a friendly and professional manner. Meet and greet parents and report to them any necessary information about their childs behavior/actions duringprogrammes. Act as the point of contact for parentsanswering any queries they may have. Communicate to children at their level and create a positive,encouragingand fun environment for sports participation. Review and respond to all online, phone and face to face communications with parents in a timely and professional manner. The above contains the main outline of duties.
