Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Building Surveyor to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of social housing projects. This role requires strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage project timelines, resources, and ensure compliance with building regulations and tenancy standards.
* Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to meet project milestones.
* Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
* Utilize expertise in Microsoft Excel for project tracking and reporting.
Requirements:
* 3–5 years of experience in social housing projects.
* Proven experience as a quantity surveyor or building surveyor.
* Extensive project management experience.
* In-depth knowledge of building regulations, ventilation standards, and tenancy regulations.
* Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Strong project management skills.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Practical experience in construction, including knowledge of guttering, ventilation systems, and general construction practices.
* Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
* Willingness to travel to various sites across Leinster and surrounding areas.
