We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the commercial success of our projects.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of NEC, Public Works, or FIDIC contracts.
Responsibilities include:
 * Preparing and managing claims, valuations, final accounts, quotes, and commercial submissions with accuracy and technical detail.
 * Working closely with site teams, engineers, foremen, and site managers to ensure strong record-keeping and commercial awareness on-site.
 * Handling subcontractor and supplier procurement, negotiation, and account closure.
 * Supporting tender and estimating teams with commercial and technical input when needed.
Prepare accurate financial reports for clients. Ensure all stakeholders receive timely updates. Provide exceptional customer service by resolving queries promptly.

Requirements
Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management. Skills: Commercially sharp, grounded, and not afraid to put on the hi-vis when needed. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently from home while collaborating effectively with site and office teams.
Experience: Ideally, we're looking for someone with experience in roadworks or heavy civils, but it's not essential. What's more important is that you have a solid understanding of construction methods and practices.
