Job Title: Audit and Finance Specialist
About the Role:
The Opportunity This is a great chance to work as an experienced Auditor and Finance specialist for a 6-month contract with a growing business in Limerick City. You will be working directly with a Head of Finance who wants a capable partner, not someone to micromanage.
* You take pride in doing things properly, spotting issues early, and keeping the finance rhythm calm and accurate.
* This role supports the finance function by ensuring that fundamentals are handled cleanly, consistently, and on time.
Responsibilities:
The position entails core bookkeeping activities such as posting journals, maintaining accounts payable/receivable records; preparing VAT/PAYE returns; bringing accounts through trial balance level; managing client account movements including receipts/payments etc.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
1. Naturally organized with strong grasp of double-entry accounting principles.
2. Experience in Sage (or similar accounting systems).
