Antech is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to work with our technical sales team.
Based at our offices in Waterford (or potentially remotely for the right candidate), the role requires a highly motivated self-starter and involves developing our existing customer accounts plus creating new opportunities with our expanding product and services portfolio.
The role is varied within our relatively small but expanding team, and will include lead generation plus spread awareness for the business through a mix of outbound telephone and e-mail communication and CRM management.
With a number of new product releases planned, this is an excellent opportunity for a Sales development specialist who is looking to take ownership of a vital function within a great company to build a long-term career.
Responsibilities
• Pro-actively develop new business
• Promotion of new products to existing customers and existing products to new customers
• Management of CRM system ensuring that it is cleaned and updated on an ongoing basis
• Focus on customer needs and how our products provide solutions
• Direct contact with clients as follow-up on targeted campaigns
• Provide weekly updates and report on customer engagements and KPIs

• Confident, with excellent communication skills, having a natural ability to talk to clients
• Self-motivated with excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
• Proven Track Record
• Strong working knowledge of CRM systems
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

A combination of the following would be considered a distinct advantage but not strictly required:
• Sales to Pharmaceutical or Life-Science sectors
• Knowledge of cGMP or Scientific background
• Marketing Automation or Demand generation experience
