Location: Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland — On-siteContract: Freelance / ContractHours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:00pmA strong contract role for a site-facing Health & Safety Advisor who can keep standards high, challenge unsafe work, and build trust quickly on a busy multi-contractor site.About the roleYou’ll be the Health & Safety lead on the ground for a fast‑paced logistics refurbishment project. This is not a desk‑heavy role. You’ll be visible on site, supporting supervisors and contractors, spotting issues early, and making sure actions are closed out quickly. The site is live and operational, so you’ll need to be practical, confident and calm under pressure.Key responsibilitiesCarry out regular site inspections, audits and safety walksReview RAMS, risk assessments and method statementsDeliver toolbox talks, briefings and safety updatesSupport contractors, supervisors and site teams with day‑to‑day H&S mattersChallenge unsafe working and drive corrective actions through to close‑outInvestigate incidents, near misses and safety observationsMaintain accurate records, reports and daily site documentationSupport a strong safety culture across a busy multi‑contractor environmentRequirementsMinimum 7 years’ experience in construction, refurbishment, fit‑out or similar site‑based H&S rolesNEBOSH General Certificate as a minimumStrong working knowledge of CDM 2015Confident carrying out inspections, audits, RAMS reviews and incident investigationsComfortable working on fast‑moving, contractor‑heavy sitesStrong communicator who can build relationships while still challenging poor practiceDesirable / nice-to-have backgroundLive logistics, warehouse, industrial, occupied or operational site experienceRefurbishment or fit‑out project experiencePrincipal contractor, consultancy or client‑side project backgroundThis is a live logistics refurbishment project with multiple contractors on site.
