Overview
Applications are invited for the position of Research Assistant in Computational Social Science, 22 Month Fixed Term Contract (Part-time 0.5 FTE) at Dublin City University.
Role Profile
You will report to, be directed by, and be under the supervision of your Principal Investigator and co-investigators for the listed activities unless otherwise stated. You will be expected to carry out the responsibilities listed by your Principal Investigators and any additional duties requested. This role is associated with an interdisciplinary Research Ireland funded project and focuses on design and application of AI, data-driven methods to analyse governance dynamics, generating insights that inform ethical and innovative, evidence-based policy solutions. The candidate is also expected to carry out day-to-day management activities associated with the execution of the project work-programme.

Salary
IUA Research Assistant Salary Scale: €33,291 (Point 1 only). Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.

Remote Working Policy
DCU operates a Remote Working Policy. Employees may be approved for up to 2 days of remote working per week (or an appropriate pro-rata amount for those part-time). Any remote working arrangement will reflect the predominant on-campus working environment and the core University value of "Student Focused". Employees will be based on campus for the majority of their working week to ensure sustained on-campus engagement. The terms of the remote working policy will apply.
