The Role
You'll support the day-to-day running of a busy branch - from sales and service to logistics, stock management, and team leadership. Working alongside the Branch Manager, you'll help ensure smooth operations, high performance, and standout customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service and strong sales results
* Oversee trade counter and operational activities (sales, stock, logistics, rostering)
* Manage inventory levels and supplier relationships
* Deputise for the Branch Manager when required
* Uphold safety, efficiency, and service standards
* Drive proactive business development and profitability
Candidate Profile
* Experience in a supervisory or management role within builders providers, construction, or related trade supply
* Strong commercial acumen and proven sales record
* Good knowledge of building materials and trade products
* Confident people leader with solid organisational skills
* Customer-focused with a practical, hands-on approach
* Full driving licence required
