Job Overview
The role of Financial Accountant is a key position within our finance team, responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger records for our legal entities. This involves ensuring compliance with monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
• Take full responsibility for legal entity accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Assist in preparing regulatory returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Contribute to the preparation of tax returns, such as corporation tax provisions and VAT filings.
• Prepare monthly finance reports for business units and collaborate with partners to ensure accurate reporting.
• Participate in the annual audit process, including preparing audited financial statements and providing necessary support to external auditors.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Part-Qualified or Finalist level accountant (ACA, ACCA)
• Good understanding of IFRS and US GAAP
• Experience with IFRS financial statements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
• The ability to work to strict deadlines
