We are seeking a Data Modeler / Analyst (Azure Delta Live Tables (DLT), Delta Lake storage, MySQL) who will work closely with architects, product managers, and other senior engineers to deliver high‑quality, secure, and maintainable solutions while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical direction.
Role Overview
Location: Dublin/Hybrid
Contract Type: 12 months
Primary Responsibilities
Lead domain discovery with partners
Build conceptual, logical, and physical models including ERDs and schema diagrams
Create data flow diagrams (DFDs) and system interaction diagrams
Design and optimize MySQL storage models including indexing and partitioning
Define data contracts and SLAs with partners
Tune performance and cost across Delta Lake and MySQL workloads
Embed governance, lineage, and metadata management
Required Qualifications
6+ years data modelling experience
Expertise with Azure Delta Live Tables (DLT) and Delta Lake storage
Strong MySQL physical modelling experience
Ability to produce logical and physical diagrams including ERDs and DFDs
Strong SQL and modelling fundamentals
Preferred Qualifications
Data observability tools
Experience in regulated healthcare environment
