Following a period of sustained growth, the organisation has built a diverse and sophisticated portfolio of reinsurance transactions and continues to expand across global markets.This is a senior leadership role within actuarial reporting, with responsibility forGroup capital reportingand close engagement with actuarial, finance, capital management and balance sheet management teams.The role will suit an experienced actuary who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.The roleLead the capital reporting elements of actuarial reportingDeliver quarterly capital forecasts and capital reporting outputsAnalyse, interpret and communicate key capital drivers and trends to senior stakeholdersDefine and implement an efficient, well-controlled capital reporting frameworkSupport the integration of new transactions and asset types into capital reporting processesEnsure compliance with Group policies, regulatory requirements and professional standardsManage, motivate and develop a small actuarial teamAbout youActuarial qualification with typically 4+ years post-qualification experienceStrong background in actuarial reporting and capital-related workExcellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsProven ability to manage priorities and deliver to tight deadlinesStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsExcellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex topics clearlyPeople management experienceAdvanced skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; SQL experience advantageousInterested candidates should contact:Grace Caraher | Alternatively, call the main Raretec office on for a confidential discussion.
