Accounting Professional Sought
We are looking for a highly skilled Accounting Professional to fill a Senior Practice Accountant position. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and tax laws.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports for clients.
2. Strategic Financial Advice: Provide guidance on financial decisions and help clients achieve their goals.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting models to aid client financial planning.
Audit Management:
1. Lead Audit Engagements: Manage and lead audit engagements for various clients.
2. Audit Compliance: Ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
3. Risk Assessment: Identify and address areas of risk and provide recommendations for improvements.
Insolvency Services:
1. Case Management: Manage insolvency cases including members voluntary liquidations, creditors voluntary liquidations and strike offs.
2. Creditor Liaison: Liaise with creditors, debtors, and legal representatives.
3. Asset Recovery: Develop and implement strategies for asset recovery and distribution.
Tax Expertise:
1. Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses.
2. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
3. Tax Planning: Provide tax planning advice and identify opportunities for tax efficiency.
Client Service:
1. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
2. Client Support: Address client queries and provide timely, accurate advice.
3. Presentation Skills: Conduct client meetings and presentations as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Chartered Accountant Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CPA).
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a practice environment.
3. Skills: Extensive experience in Accounting, Auditing, Insolvency, Tax, and Tax Compliance.
4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
6. Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
