The Role Basedin Churchtown, Dublinand reportingtothe Chief Executive,the Headof Person Support Servicesisakey memberofthe Senior Management Team.
Theroleholdsaccountabilityfortheoverall leadership,management, planning, co-ordination and delivery of Person Support Services at a strategic and operational level.
This role requires a strong commitment and drive to develop, lead and empower teams, who will ensure that each person receives appropriate, high quality, Individualised supports to live a good life.
The Person Qualifiedtodegreelevel (atleast Lv.8onthe NFQIrelandorequivalent)withatleast10yearspost-graduateexperience and 3 years at appropriate management / leadership level, the ideal candidate will: Beregisteredwiththeirprofessionalbody,ifapplicable,andcandemonstrateevidenceofcontinuing professional development.
Havethecapacityanddrivetoinspire,guideandinnovatethedeliveryof Individualisedrights-basedservices.
Haveagoodunderstandingofthechangingdirectionofpolicyandserviceprovisioninthedisabilitysectoras well as an in-depth knowledge and proven track in legislative and regulatory compliance.
Haveextensiveknowledgeofserviceinnovationinintellectualdisabilityservicesandunderstandingofsocialrole valorization/supported self- directed living and its implementation.
Havegoodleadership,managerial,interpersonalandproblem-solvingskills,togetherwithanabilitytoadvocate on behalf of the organisation and people using the service at local and regional level.
Be eligible to work in Ireland and possess all necessary permits/visas if applicable.
Anyotherrequirements Thesuccessfulapplicantshouldfull,clean Irishdriverslicence and ideallyhaveaccesstoacar.
Thispositionissubjecttosuccessful Garda Vetting.
This position is a permanent, full-time role.
The successful candidate may be required to work flexible hours as required, in line with the needs of the service.
