Director of Finance Role
Galway County Council is seeking a highly experienced and skilled finance professional to join our team as Director of Finance.

Role Responsibilities
The Director of Finance will lead and manage the finance function within the Authority, reporting to the Chief Executive and contributing to the strategic management of the Finance function.
As a key member of the Senior Management team, you will be required to provide high-level independence and objectivity, utilising your professional, technical and management skills in an environment that promotes a high-performance culture.
You will be responsible for leading the finance function and will have additional responsibilities involving other function areas of the Local Authority from time to time.
