Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering activities on a specific construction project. Your tasks will vary and will be agreed with the Project Manager on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage Site Safety in conjunction with the Safety Advisor to ensure a safe working environment.
2. Co-ordinate the technical design with onsite installation through to successful commissioning, ensuring the company's vision, mission & values are fulfilled.
3. Manage Site QA in conjunction with the Mechanical Package Manager, including setting up, management and closing out of file.
4. Assist with the management of all costs associated with your package, including subcontractors.
5. Manage material deliveries and goods receipting, Plant and Equipment, Variations and Valuations.
6. Manage day-to-day on-site operations, including coordination with other trades and package leads.
7. Manage subcontractor activities, including tracking progress against schedule and workforce levels.
