Job Title: Financial Administrator
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to manage our finances and support the administrative needs of the Centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, processing payroll, managing banking, invoices, payments, and online banking.
The successful applicant will have a qualification in accounting or business administration, proven experience in a financial administration role, strong organisational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with policies and procedures.
* Process payroll, PRSI, PAYE, and ROS submissions on time and accurately.
* Manage banking, donations, receipts, and lodgements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Handle invoices, payments, and online banking transactions efficiently and effectively.
* Consult with auditors/accountants and prepare reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) to ensure financial governance and transparency.
* Prepare budgets and reconcile spending against budget to maintain fiscal discipline.
General Administration:
* Ensure the office is well-organised, stocked, and running efficiently at all times.
* Oversee general maintenance and coordinate newsletters to keep staff informed.
* Maintain accessible records and manage correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
* Support staff with administrative tasks, social media, and event planning to enhance team collaboration.
Team & Community Support:
* Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes equality.
* Participate in team meetings, planning, and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
* Handle queries, respond to emails, and provide relevant information in a prompt and courteous manner.
