Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, for a Business Development Manager - UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers within the UK market, identifying opportunities to grow business, and developing comprehensive plans to meet sales objectives. Key tasks include regular engagement with clients, market research, setting and achieving sales targets, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and the successful delivery of products and services.
Qualifications
* Sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to achieve and exceed targets.
* Experience with market research, business development strategies, and relationship management within a B2B environment.
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
* Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
* Knowledge of the agricultural machinery or parts industry is a significant advantage.
* Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and demonstrate a consistent customer-focused approach.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
