Key Responsibilities:
Preparation & Cooking
: Manage a section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Menu Execution
: Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to deliver the daily menu, maintaining consistency and quality.
Supervision
: Assist in training and developing junior kitchen staff while ensuring smooth service in your section.
Hygiene & Safety
: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen while adhering to health and safety standards.
Stock Control
: Help manage stock, including ordering, rotating, and minimizing waste.
Collaboration
: Work effectively with the kitchen team to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently, especially during busy service periods.
What We're Looking For:
Experience
: Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen is preferred.
Culinary Skills
: Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
Team Player
: Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail
: A keen eye for detail in food presentation, portioning, and quality.
