About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Retrofit Coordinator to join our team in an office-based role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in sustainability, energy efficiency, or construction to gain experience in coordinating home energy upgrade projects across Ireland. You will support the delivery of retrofit projects under schemes such as the SEAI Warmer Homes Scheme, helping eligible homeowners access free energy upgrades to improve comfort, reduce energy bills, and contribute to Ireland's climate goals.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in coordinating retrofit projects, including scheduling, documentation, and communication.
· Support applications and compliance for SEAI-funded schemes, especially the Warmer Homes Scheme.
· Liaise with homeowners, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
· Maintain accurate records and help prepare reports for audits and inspections.
· Learn about energy efficiency measures and Irish retrofit standards.
About You
· Interest in sustainability, construction, or energy efficiency.
· Strong organisational and communication skills.
· Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
· Willingness to learn and take initiative.
· Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks.
Desirable (but not essential)
· Experience in an administrative, construction, or technical support role.
· Familiarity with SEAI schemes.
· Training or coursework in retrofit coordination or building services.
