The Vet Office is recruiting two Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeons for a busy and progressive veterinary clinic located in Castlebar, County Mayo.
These positions offer an excellent opportunity to join a growing practice with a strong farm animal client base while maintaining an active small animal caseload.
The Role
The caseload is approximately:
70% Large Animal
30% Small Animal
Large Animal Work Includes
TB testing.
Herd health planning and preventative medicine.
Routine and emergency care of cattle and sheep.
Farm visits and client support.
Production animal medicine and health management.
Small Animal Work Includes
General consultations.
Vaccinations and preventative healthcare.
Routine surgeries and neutering.
Dental procedures.
Diagnostic workups and case management.
Medical and surgical follow-up care.
Candidate Profile
Veterinary degree eligible for registration in Ireland.
Mixed practice experience preferred.
New graduates with strong farm animal experience may also be considered.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Enthusiastic, motivated, and client-focused attitude.
