With years of experience, SWORDS EYE CENTRE has built a reputation for excellence in optical care within the local community.Role DescriptionThis is a full or part time, on-site role for a Dispensing Optician ideally (but not essentially) to go between our two practices in Swords and Southgate, Drogheda. The Dispensing Optician will work closely with customers to provide expert advice on eyewear selection, ensure accurate dispensing of prescriptions, and support clients with their optical needs. Responsibilities include advising on lens options, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction. The role also involves working collaboratively with the team to maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere.QualificationsProficiency in optics and related knowledge to ensure accurate eyewear prescriptions and adjustmentsStrong customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with an emphasis on creating positive client experiencesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a diverse clienteleAttention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environmentRelevant certifications or education in optical dispensing or a related field is advantageous
