Biopharma Process Engineering Specialist Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key engineering role at our facility in Carlow. As part of this position, you will provide process engineering services to support upgrade projects in our Sterile Filling Facility.
* Act as Package Owner for new process equipment and upgrades to existing process equipment ensuring seamless integration.
* Manage vendors for critical equipment detailed design, fabrication, installation, and delivery, adhering to strict quality standards.
* Develop Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, User Requirement Specifications, and Equipment Specifications, maintaining global engineering best practices.
* Facilitate team completion of process safety deliverables, including PHA (Hazops), guaranteeing site-wide safety protocols are upheld.
* Ensure compliance with global engineering standards, procedures, and practices across all project deliverables.
* Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to clarify project and site stakeholder inputs and reflect them accurately in design deliverables.
* Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering within the biopharmaceutical industry.
* Proven track record of successfully managing complex process engineering projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
