Position: Mechanical Project Engineers
Location: Dublin City, Ireland.
Job Description: We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Engineers to join our engineering team. As Mechanical Project Engineers, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution and delivery of diverse mechanical engineering projects, contributing to the continued growth and reputation of our company as a world‑class engineering contractor.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives; develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
Design and Engineering: Prepare red‑line technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using industry‑standard software and BIM tools; ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Procurement and Vendor Management: Identify and source appropriate materials, equipment, and components; evaluate vendor proposals and manage the procurement process.
Project Implementation and Supervision: Oversee construction and installation phases, provide technical guidance to on‑site teams, conduct site inspections, and address technical challenges promptly.
Project Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, prepare progress reports, change orders, and close‑out documents; deliver comprehensive technical reports to clients and management.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
3–5 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the engineering services industry, with a track record of successful project delivery.
Strong technical proficiency in mechanical engineering principles, design tools, and software.
Familiarity with BIM and other relevant engineering technologies.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Understanding of relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
