Internal Auditor – Insurance
Role Overview
Responsible for delivering risk-based internal audits across an insurance/reinsurance group, providing independent assurance over governance, risk management, capital, and core insurance operations. This role suits a practice or industry trained auditor with insurance knowledge who wants to work within a group function and gain fantastic exposure while using strong technical and regulatory experience.
Ideally you will have:
* 3+ years' experience in internal audit, external audit or risk assurance, ideally from a Big 4 / mid-tier practice with insurance clients.
* Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks, financial risk, and assurance over regulatory reporting.
* Knowledge of insurance / reinsurance operations and solvency or finance processes is a strong advantage.
* Good working knowledge of Solvency II an advantage
* Professional qualification (or close to completion) such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, CRMA or equivalent.
* Strong analytical, report-writing and stakeholder engagement skills; confident presenting to senior management.
* High level of integrity, independence and sound professional judgement; comfortable working in a changing environment.
