We are currently seeking a talented professional to manage project costs, prepare budgets and evaluate tenders for various construction projects in County Cork.
Responsibilities:
* Create comprehensive cost estimates, detailed budgets and thorough project evaluations.
* Analyse tender documents and oversee procurement processes.
* Evaluate contracts and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
* Monitor project progress, manage variations and control costs.
* Presentation of regular financial reports to stakeholders.
* Collaboration with project managers, clients and subcontractors is essential.
Requirements:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is required.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in the construction industry or a consultancy environment is necessary.
* Familiarity with cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
* Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills are essential.
* Knowledge of Irish construction regulations would be advantageous.
