Job Opportunity: Procurement Specialist
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing operations, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Responsibilities:
* Process purchase orders, verify product details and prices
* Liaise with product coordinators/designers to ensure product setup is complete
* Coordinate shipping schedules and deliveries with suppliers
* Ensure customs clearance documents are in order and respond to queries as needed
* Update shipping intake schedules periodically
* Perform cost valuation tasks
* Handle phone calls and ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
* Experience using ERP systems
* 'Can Do' attitude, ability to work independently
* Strong interpersonal skills and high level of customer service
* Previous experience in shipments/imports,exports an advantage
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel reporting
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Flexible and adaptable
