About the Role:We are currently seeking an experienced Shuttering Carpenter to join our growing production team in Co. Westmeath. Our client is a leader in concrete innovation and modular construction, provides high-quality structural solutions in a controlled factory environment.This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in precision and structural integrity. You will work as part of a dedicated manufacturing team to deliver high-end concrete modular units.Key ResponsibilitiesFormwork Mastery: Accurately setting up, securing, and dismantling shuttering systems (formwork) for wall panels and structural elements.Technical Interpretation: Reading and interpreting detailed structural drawings, ensuring precise placement for window/door openings, electrical conduits, and insulation.Concrete Operations: Overseeing the pouring and vibration of concrete to ensure a high- quality, air-bubble-free finish.Quality Control: Completing and signing off on production checklists to maintain strict industry standards.Collaboration: Working closely with the Design Team and Production Managers to resolve technical queries and meet critical delivery deadlines.Safety & Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all Health & Safety protocols and company policies.Requirements & QualificationsExperience: Qualified Carpenter with a minimum of 5 years' experience specifically in shuttering formwork.Safety Credentials: Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificate are essential.Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and follow blueprints and technical specifications.Legal: Valid Visa to work in Ireland and a full, clean driving license.Attributes: A self-starter who can work under minimal supervision with excellent communication skills.Working ConditionsEnvironment: Modern factory-based production facility (sheltered from outdoor weather conditions).Physicality: A physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, and the operation of heavy equipment.Hours: Primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime requirements to meet production targets.Why Join Us?Competitive Pay: Starting rate of €20.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime.Stability: Full-time, permanent contract with a reputable local employer.Benefits:◦Bike to Work Scheme◦On-site Parking◦ ◦Career Growth: Real opportunities for training, skill development, and internal advancement.How to ApplySend your updated CV hereJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €20.00-€21.50 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:Company pensionRelocation assistanceSick payWork Location: In person
