Job Details:Job Description: We are seeking a goal driven, self-motivated analytical chemist with Mass Spectrometry experience for trace metal analysis in a clean room laboratory environment. Primary role will be ICPMS with additional analytical testing methods including titration and liquid and gas chromatography.Responsibilities include sample preparation and analysis in compliance with standard procedures, prioritization of sample queue based on customer and factory need, maintenance of laboratory and equipment in a safety-first orientated environment. Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills are required.The Analytical Chemistry Lab technician will work with the Lab engineers and the Lab manager in support of Intel Ireland, Leixlip site manufacturing operations. Assignments are semi routine in nature. Work is performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Sample preparation, safe handling and mixing of chemicals, lab analysis and measurements, data collection, analysis and summarization, presentation of lab reports.Maintenance of lab analytical tools (scheduled and unscheduled maintenance), installation and qualification of lab equipment.Responsibility for accuracy of analytical data and precision of analytical tools.Safety initiatives, quality systems compliance/maintenance, lab equipment availability and timely delivery of analytical results.Lab sustaining and development, process transfer, tool ownership, BKM (Best Known Method) development, and cross training on other techniques.The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:Be able to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to fast-changing priorities.A demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team setting.Is willing to successfully work as a team with peers, engineers and other analytical lab groups.Comfortable working with a variety of chemicals including acids, bases, oxidizers, solvents, etc.Ability to work in a cleanroom environment for several hours each day.Ability to work standing (e.g. at fume hoods or chemical wet stations) for several hours each day.Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong technical English.This position will require Shift work, with Compressed Work Week Rotating. Qualifications:Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum Qualifications:Level 7 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) in Chemistry or Biochemistry or related field and 2+ years maintenance/chemical handling experience ORLevel 6 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) in Chemistry or Biochemistry or related field and 4+ years maintenance/chemical handling experience in a Lab or similar environmentPreferred Qualifications:L8 Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemistry or BiochemistryFamiliarity with laboratory scales and pipetting techniques4+ years of experience working in a high volume manufacturing or lab facility.1+ years of experience with ICPMS, Assay (titration or densitometry), GCMS, Ion Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography highly desired.Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.Job Type:Experienced HireShift:Shift 1 A (Ireland)Primary Location: Ireland, LeixlipAdditional Locations:Business group:Intel Foundry strives to make every facet of semiconductor manufacturing state-of-the-art while delighting our customers -- from delivering cutting-edge silicon process and packaging technology leadership for the AI era, enabling our customers to design leadership products, global manufacturing scale and supply chain, through the continuous yield improvements to advanced packaging all the way to final test and assembly.
