is looking for a
Business Development Manager
. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for the development of a portfolio of wind, solar, and battery storage projects, from identifying the site to securing the land and the permits until handover to the Construction team.
The Main Tasks Include
* Prospection of new sites for the development of projects;
* Analysis of the electrical network infrastructures to facilitate the interconnection of the projects;
* Development of plans to lead or assist with landowner negotiations (on site, road access, cable, and overhead line wayleaves, etc.);
* External stakeholder management including landowners, local communities, local authorities, and elected representatives;
* Oversight of third-party partners and providers of technical services;
* Management of the planning process and grid connection process;
* Management of financial models supporting the business case of projects;
* Assist with the identification of routes to market for the various technologies.
* Support the Construction and Asset management teams;
* Adherence to Health & Safety procedures;
* Regular management reporting.
* Degree in engineering, planning or business administration, with specialisation in renewable energy, environment or project management;
* 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience is required.
* Proficiency in the use of GIS/AutoCad software is considered an advantage;
* Strong motivation to work in a complex environment : you are organised, open-minded and able to work independently; you are capable of working on several projects in parallel;
* Team player with the ability to foster and maintain good working relationships both internally and with external stakeholders
* Excellent oral and written skills;
* Full clean driving license (frequent travelling will be required for field work within Ireland and occasional travel for meetings at the Headquarters in Paris, France).
